Unlimited Resources

Ephesians 3:20 - “To him who is able to do immeasurably more than all we ask or imagine, according to his power that is at work within us.”

A recent article in our local newspaper included these instructions: � PRESERVE RESOURCES BY USING LESS ENERGY � REDUCE, REUSE AND RECYCLE � CONSERVE WATER

Environmentalists warn that we are systematically depleting our natural resources. If we do not conserve, they say, we will not have enough to survive on this planet. Many people are genuinely anxious about our future environmental supplies. We need to be careful by reducing our consumption.

Sometimes I get a similar anxious feeling, as if I’m using up all God’s available resources. When this happens, I notice I begin to ration out my prayers requests.

But I need not worry. I can ask God to save, help, guide, intercede, comfort, heal, forgive, direct, sustain, and protect me, my family, friends, neighbors, pastor, missionaries, local and national governments, and the world. I do not have to be concerned about conserving my prayers. His power cannot be depleted. God’s resources are unlimited.

Lord, your wealth knows no boundaries.

You can do far above what I can ask or imagine in my entire lifetime.
