Icon23 Atheism: The Rising Tide in Recovery Today

To All:
Bill Vodopia is the GSR for my home group while I was up at the DC Salvation Army ARC. The Mt. Rainier Group objected to the General Service Conference approval to prepare literature that describes recovery (without God) for agnostics and atheists.
Bill describes in the documents how his attempts to present the group’s objections were blocked and exactly what the issues are.
I applaud Bill’s courage in the face of much opposition.
I pass these on because each AA needs to know what is going on at the GSO level.
