Heart Garbage
Bible Reading: Jeremiah 4:14; Psalm 139:23-24.
We hear a lot in the news today about garbage. Everyone produces it, but no one wants to be responsible for disposing of it. It's a problem that won't go away.
Did you know that you can have let garbage pile up in your heart? Anger, bitterness, hatred, envy, depression and strife will make your emotional life a real junkyard. Jesus says if you will trust in Him, He will clean up your trash, and make your heart pure and clean again. I don't want any garbage in my heart, do you?
Moment of Meditation: There is no room in Heaven for heart garbage. Get rid of it today.
A Talk with Jesus: Lord, examine my heart and purify it of all the emotional trash that has been piling up. Make me pure and clean again. Amen.
