God's Love
Bible Reading: Ephesians 2:4-10; Matthew 5:44-45; John 1:12-13,16.
God's love is unconditional. He loves us just like we are, "warts and all". This is so simple, but so hard to grasp. We keep trying to earn His love by doing good deeds. And when we aren't doing so well, we believe He doesn't love us anymore, and we hide from Him. We can never be good enough to earn God's love. But we don't have to: we are guaranteed God's love always because of Jesus Christ. Believe on Jesus Christ, and you will always dwell in God's love.
Moment of Meditation: God's love seeks us out wherever we try to hide.
A Talk with Jesus: Lord, I know that my good works cannot earn salvation. You bought eternal life for me with Your blood. Thank You that You will love me always, no matter what. Amen.
