Thanks for sharing. My sponsor told me that a grateful alcoholic will never pick up as long as he/she remained grateful. I was told to list 5 things I was grateful for each night. An alcoholic will never have a reason to pick up, but he/she will find lots of excuses if they are not mindful. One day at a time.
