INFINITELY MORE
So many times we get frustrated with our limitations yet we continue trying to do things on our own. We attempt over and over again and continue to mess up. There is a solution. When we realize we are nothing without Christ, we can humble ourselves before Him, repent and ask Him to forgive us. God can work through us so we can accomplish even more than we could do on our own. We need to realize our limits and know there is no limit to what God can do through us. He is able to do infinitely more than we can could ever imagine.
Ephesians 3:20 “Now all glory to God, who is able, through his mighty power at work within us, to accomplish infinitely more than we might ask or think.” (NLT)
Dear Lord, You are all we need. When we try on our own to do things, we fail. Because we aren’t complete without You. When You are not in our lives, we are empty. When we don’t come to You for help, we won’t be doing Your will. Remind us daily we are able to do infinitely, inconceivably great, more with You in our lives than we could ever do alone. And we thank You. In Jesus’ name. Amen.
There is nothing in this word that can give us the power and might to do good compared to what God can give.
When we allow God to work through us to do great things, we are to also give Him all the glory so others will know His greatness.
Humbling ourselves before God and giving Him our days and nights will allow Him to do great things through us.
We have limitations, incapabilities, idiosyncrasies. We are not perfect. But God can use us to do more than we can imagine.
Our strength to do what is right comes from God alone.
Philippians 4:13 “For I can do everything through Christ, who gives me strength.” (NLT)
Focus: Turn to God if you want to get things done right. And He will do great things through you.
