Default Laugh to Lift Yourself Up

Laugh to Lift Yourself Up

He will yet fill your mouth with laughter, and your lips with shouting. Job 8:21 ESV

In Psalm 51:12, David prayed, “Restore to me the joy of Your salvation.” It was a very difficult time in his life—and he understood that only God could return his joy! This is true for all of us. If you are dealing with painful or demanding circumstances that have sapped you of your joy, taken away your laughter, and brought stress into your life, don’t try to go through it alone. Ask God to return His joy to your heart. He is willing and able to give you “the oil of joy instead of mourning, the garment [expressive] of praise” (see Isaiah 61:3 AMP)

It’s Okay to Have Fun - Feeling overwhelmed? Joyce shares an easy way to lighten up and have a little fun! Watch Video Now - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_JA_28-orYQ

Tip from Joyce: “One of the most valuable things I have learned in life is that I don’t have to wait to feel like doing something before I can do it… You can actually learn how to create opportunities for laughter.” – Joyce Meyer

Study Suggestion: Look for someone around you who could use a good laugh—and do whatever it takes to make them laugh out loud. Gain insights from God’s Word:

1 Thessalonians 5:11 ESV Therefore encourage one another and build one another up, just as you are doing.

ECCLESIASTES 3:1 AMP There is a season (a time appointed) for everything and a time for every delight and event or purpose under heaven

PROVERBS 15:15 AMP All the days of the afflicted are bad, But a glad heart has a continual feast [regardless of the circumstances].

Luke 6:21 ESV "Blessed are you who are hungry now, for you shall be satisfied. "Blessed are you who weep now, for you shall laugh.
