D is for Divine. Divine Orderly Good comes from the God of my understanding and shows me a new way to live clean and sober. Good orderly direction from a group of drunks and drug addicts who have been there and done it before me and can show me the way.

D is for Denial. Sometimes we don't realize we are in it. One of the hardest things to do is to get honest with ourselves. Isolation is a contributing factor, there is no one around to call us on our stuff and no one around to disagree with us.

D is for Do It. The slogan says Easy does it...But do it!

A thought never gets anywhere unless I followed it up with action and do what was meant to be done. For me, if I do not do, it get's forgotten.

Do not procrastination! Do not put anything in your path that will block your path or destroys your sobriety. Do not substitute, it all takes you back to where you came from.

D is for Dismay. Do not dismay, never fear, God is near. Don't give up, give over.

Do not dismay, no matter how it seemed and/or how it looks back at you, that was then, this is in today.
